Cherie Bélanger
She/Her
Bow, New Hampshire
Cherie has lived in New Hampshire most of her life, but only started getting outdoors on a regular basis in 2020. What started as a quest for weight loss quickly turned into an addiction to adventuring through forests and mountains all over northern New England. Cherie began looking for LGBT specific groups in the area to link up with to get out and have fun with others in an inclusive community. When she wasn’t able to find any currently operating in New Hampshire, she got in touch with LGBT Outdoors to see about getting something started, and here we are! Cherie is an avid 4 season hiker, plus recently picked up snowshoeing, and kayaking. Cherie is looking forward to sharing her passion for the outdoors with others in an inclusive environment where everyone can feel safe and welcome.

Diana Moore
She/Her
Concord, New Hampshire
Diana is a nature-loving, outdoors enthusiast originally from the flatlands of Philadelphia and Indianapolis. The mountains have always called to her, and so she traveled extensively in the U.S. and abroad in search of natural wonders, yet coming home to New Hampshire, her adopted home, makes her feel so fortunate to have so much beauty right in my backyard. Diana is a writer and a photographer, but you can find her outside, whenever she can, hiking the high peaks in fall and winter, backpacking, cycling, mountain biking, bike touring, bike packing, kayaking, kayak camping, car camping, running or leading outdoor yoga classes. Diana a perpetual student of nature, including plants, trees and local wildlife. She love exploring, learning and posting about her discoveries. She is also an avid environmentalist, with a deep-seated desire to protect the natural world and all the beauty, secrets, and natural cures she holds.

Heidi Lewis
She/Her
Dover, New Hampshire
Heidi’s love of the outdoors began with summers on a lake in Maine, swimming, paddling, and enjoying the wildlife. While at UNH, she became an avid hiker and backpacker, eventually becoming a trip leader. She spent 10 days backpacking in winter in the White Mountains and traveled across the country visiting several National Parks, camping, hiking, rock climbing, and spelunking. Currently, she goes hiking whenever she can whether it be a small local mountain near the Seacoast or a bigger mountain in the Whites. She also recently took up paddleboarding and loves being on the water. Heidi is excited to share her love of the outdoors with others and provide opportunities for queer folks connect.
