Where will the event be held?

The event will be held at the YMCA of the Rockies at 2515 Tunnel Rd. Estes Park, CO 80511 which is located 1 hour and 40 minutes from Denver as well as Denver International Airport.

What will the accommodations be like?

We are renting the largest lodge at the YMCA so accommodation will be dorm like.

What are we doing about Covid?

Yeah… This thing is still hanging around in 2022. We hope and expect numbers to drop significantly prior to Outdoorfest. We hope to use simple common sense precautions. However — depending on the state of things in September 2022, we MAY require proof of full vaccination or a negative Covid test taken within 24 hours of scheduled check-in.

Can I have my own room?

Yes, for an addition fee. However, we highly discourage this unless you are a couple.

• Individual Room = Additional $200

• Couple’s Room = Additional $150

If you are a couple and you pay for a room for yourselves and your partner ends up not attending, you will need to pay the extra $50 for a room for yourself. For either of these accommodations, please email us and we will set up the payment.

How do I make sure I get in to the workshops I’m wanting to take?

Sign up as soon as workshop sign-ups open! When workshop sign-ups open on August 1st, you will receive an email on how to sign up if you are registered. It is on a first-come \ first-served basis. We don’t want overcrowding during hands-on workshops. While we don’t guarantee you will get all the workshops you want, everyone will get to attend four workshops.

When should I arrive and leave?

Check in will be from 11:00am - 2:30pm on September 23th and the event will end at 12:00pm on September 25th.

Alcohol. Can we drink it?

The legal drinking age in the State of Colorado is 21. Please be respectful in all activities and do not become inebriated. This is 10000% BYOB. Due to the potentially dangerous activities in some of our workshops, we restrict access to those workshops explicitly to non-inebriated persons. Our staff and presenters have the final say on this. Otherwise, have fun - and don’t be a punk.

Who can come?

LGBT+ Outdoorfest is open to LGBTQ+ people who are (or will be) 18 years of age or older as of the event start date.

Can I just walk up to any workshop I want to take?

Nope. The only way to make sure you get into the workshops you want is to sign up ahead of time. (First come, first served). Most of our workshops are hands-on - and we have to limit the number of participants for safety and educational reasons.

But I can still eventually take all the workshops, right?

Nope. There’s four workshop times and seven workshops. Multiple workshops happen at each of those times. The limits of time and space do not allow you to be in multiple places at once.

Are we eating?

Absolutely! All meals will be provided, but if you have food restrictions, you are welcome to bring your own food. We will have vegetarian options available, but you MUST let us know you are vegetarian at least 30 days before the event.

Can I transfer my ticket or get a refund?

You can transfer your ‘ticket’ to someone else, if you’d like... but you must notify us of the transfer and you may not re-sell it for more than you paid. There are no refunds.

Are refunds available?

No. Let’ just be super clear here, there are no refunds.
