The registration cost is per person.
I have a friend/s going, can I get a campsite next to theirs?
Yes! Just let us know as soon as possible.
When will the workshops be announced?
Workshops will be announced in March, but as always they are subject to change.
What will the accommodations be like?
This is a tent camping event. If you don’t have a tent we have some available to rent for $35 for the two nights which includes our team setting it up and taking it down. There are some cabins on the campground. Most will be reserved for instructors, especially those traveling in, so they have a place to store their equipment and supplies for their workshops. Any extra cabins will be on a first come first service bases and you can email us to get on the list for availability.
How do I make sure I get in to the workshops I’m wanting to take?
Sign up as soon as workshop sign-ups open! When workshop sign-ups open on July 1st, you will receive an email on how to sign up if you are registered. It is on a first-come \ first-served basis. We limit many of the workshop sizes so that participants can get the most out of each workshop. While we don’t guarantee you will get all the workshops you want, everyone will get to attend four workshops.
What are the next steps after registering?
March 1st we will start emailing everyone that has registered to give you the details for 2023 including a Release Form if you haven’t already filled one out for 2023. On August 1st we will open sign-ups for the workshops. If you have any questions along the way, feel free to email us at info@lgbtoutdoors.com
When should I arrive and leave?
Check in will be from 1:30pm - 2:30pm on September 22th and the event will end at 12:00pm on September 24th.
What should I do when I arrive?
You will first check in with the office at Rainbow Ranch and then go to the pavilion to complete check in with us.
Can I come earlier or stay longer to enjoy Rainbow Ranch more?
If Rainbow Ranch has availability, yes, but those arrangements will need to be made with Rainbow Ranch. If you are coming early let us know so we can give you your tent site number so you won’t have to move for the event. If you are staying longer you don’t need to do anything with us.
Alcohol. Can we drink it?
Yes, if you are the legal drinking age in Texas. Please be respectful in all activities and do not become inebriated. This is 100% BYOB. Due to the potentially dangerous activities in some of our workshops, we restrict access to those workshops explicitly to non-inebriated persons. Our staff and presenters have the final say on this. Otherwise, have fun - and don’t be a punk.
Who can come?
LGBT+ Outdoorfest is open to LGBTQIA+ people who are (or will be) 18 years of age or older as of the event start date.
Can I just walk up to any workshop I want to take?
Nope. The only way to make sure you get into the workshops you want is to sign up ahead of time. (First come, first served). Most of our workshops are hands-on - and we have to limit the number of participants for safety and educational reasons.
Are we eating?

This would cover your breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday. We will have vegetarian options available, but you MUST let us know you are vegetarian at least 15 days before the event.
