Oregon | mountain Meadow Hike

HOST: Loren Payne | Oregon Ambassador

ACTIVITY: Hiking

LOCATION: Government Camp, OR

SUGGESTED LGBT OUTDOORS DONATION: $10

ACTIVITY FEE(S): Free

MINORS ALLOWED: Yes

DOGS ALLOWED: Yes, on a leash.

Join us for a hike through one of Mount Hood's most iconic meadows! We'll be hiking the approximately 5.8 mile loop trail to Elk Meadows, known for its breathtaking views of Mount Hood, old growth forest, and wildflowers.

Your Oregon Ambassador will help folks coordinate carpooling and gear sharing as needed, so please don’t let those things prevent you from signing up! Well-behaved dogs (this is a popular trail where many other people and dogs are present) on leash are welcome to join - owners are responsible for packing out all waste.

If you haven’t joined the Oregon FB group you can do so here!
