Join us as we tour the magnificent Gillette Castle, a medieval-style stone castle built in 1914 by William Hooker Gillette.

There is a 2-mile leisurely hike around the castle, with a view of the Connecticut River. We will have an optional picnic lunch to enjoy the warmer days.

With the days getting warmer, it is almost a sin to say no to a waterfall hike which also rewards with a natural swimming hole!!

Join us for an easy 4.5-mile hike at this very nicely maintained state park, featuring a majestic waterfall and a swimming spot. It also has a picnic area for post-hike social time, making new friends, and sharing food and stories!

ACTIVITY FEE(S): $15 Entrance Fee for Out of State Vehicles

MINORS ALLOWED: No

DOGS ALLOWED: Yes, on a leash

This will be a 5.5mi moderate loop hike at the Talcott Mtn. with around 900ft elevation gain.

We will be going at a slow pace and give it about 3hrs. Post hike there will be an optional social lunch to learn more about our local favorite spots and outdoor activities.
