We're back in the Piedmont, y'all!

This month we'll be heading to Pilot Mountain for some gorgeous views of the Yadkin River valley. We will meet for a 3.5 mile hike up to Pilot Knob. This hike is strenuous but manageable.

There is an option for those who would prefer to skip the elevation gain on foot and meet up near the top. This mile hike will have some mild ups and downs but is fairly flat.

From there, we will explore the trails around Pilot Knob.

Stressed from the holiday hustle and bustle? There's nothing like a walk in the woods to relax and get your mind off the daily grind.

Join us for a 5 mi hike in Medoc Mountain State Park where we'll follow the Little Fishing Creek with a moderate climb to the top of Medoc Mountain, named after the French wine-producing region by the previous owner of the property who himself was a vintner in the 19th century.

The hike should take about two to three hours.
